Appointments

In order to book an appointment (psychological assessment, intervention or consultation), you can contact me directly HERE. You do not need to be referred by your GP or another service. Once I receive your enquiry, I will contact you to discuss your needs or offer an appointment.

I offer virtual remote appointments on MS Teams and face-to-face appointments in Alsager, Stoke-On-Trent.
For remote appointments I will email you the link for our appointment well in advance, with relevant instructions regarding how to join, and my contact details to ensure you feel confident accessing this format.
Face-to-face appointments are held in a private therapy room in Hub & Health in Alsager, Stoke-on-Trent. Details regarding accessing the venue, parking, etc. will be emailed to you prior to our appointment.
Prior to our appointment,  I will email you my relevant policies (Safeguarding, Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy explaining how personal data is stored etc.). I will also kindly ask you to complete a registration or referral form.

Appointments are normally 60 minutes. I appreciate that taking the first step to reach out for support can feel daunting so I will ensure you are given a warm welcome and provided with a safe and comfortable environment to put you at ease.

Follow-up appointments may be 60 minutes or you may prefer a shorter format of 30 minutes.

You are welcome to bring items (such as sensory materials or communication aides) or a person with you for support if you would find this helpful.

At your first appointment we will discuss what your needs are at this time and how I might be able to support you. What we discuss is confidential and I adhere to the General Data Protection Regulations (GDPR) and Professional Codes of Ethics and Conduct. In exceptional circumstances I may need to pass on personal information to other parties (such as your GP, emergency services or the Police) – for instance if you report a crime or if there may be a serious risk of harm to yourself or others. I will discuss this with you and try to gain your consent before doing so. This will be explained further to you in my Privacy Policy.
