Consultations for parents

Perhaps you care for a child who you think may be neurodivergent and want to understand more about what this means and how best to support them and the wider family.

Or perhaps your child already has a diagnosis of Autism or ADHD, but you’re left wondering what happens next.

Here are some common issues parents ask me about:

  • Helping neurodivergent children, and siblings or other family members, make sense of their differences – both their challenges as well as their unique strengths.
  • Supporting their self-esteem and positive mental health.
Managing challenging situations, behaviours, or emotional responses.
  • Navigating how to secure reasonable adjustments at school, college, or work.
  • Signposting/ where to find additional support (diagnostic services, support groups, child psychologists, Occupational Therapy, Speech and Language Therapy etc).

Consultations can be offered face‑to‑face or remotely, as a single session or a series of sessions, depending on your needs. Together, we identify the areas that matter most to you, set clear goals, and review progress at a pace that feels right for you.
